Catechists are needed for all pre-school, grade school, middle school and high school programs.  (Please indicate which grade level you ould like to share your faith.)  Catechists need an understanding of the Catholic faith and desire to help children/youth in their faith formation.  All catechists are provided with a teacher manual, lesson plans, and in-service opportunities.

Catechists:

  * Little Church - an activity based program for 3 and 4 year olds held during 9:30 mass.

  *Kindergarten through 5th grade - sessions held on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday at 4:30 pm and also Monday and Wednesday at 6:30 pm.  Students have texts and meet for 21 sessions per year.

  *Middle School - lead catechists facilitate and instruct middle school youth, grades 6, 7, 8, with support and guidance of the Middle School Administrator.  Material is provided by the administrator.  This group meets on Sunday evenings for 6 - 8 pm, 6 sessions per year.

 *High School - grades 9, 10, 11 meet Sunday evenings for 9 sessions a year.  Catechists will facilitate small group with support and guidance of Hgh School Administrator.

  *Confirmation - team member will meet with youth in small faith sharing group in member's home.  There will be five two-hour sessions for final preparation for celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation.

  *Catechist Substitute - persons willing to help on occasion when regular catechist has a scheduling conflict.  Materials provided.

Youth Ministry Advisor - work with middle school and high school youth on planned activities.

Retreat Leader - work with youth in a variety of experiences and activities for teens.

Retreat Help/Support - help with special projects, prepare and serve food.

Children's Liturgy Of The Word Leader- facilitate Sunday during 9:30 or 10:15 mass.  Children in K-3 hear the scriptures proclaimed followed by a reflection on how they can live God's Word daily.  Children return to church for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
