A variety of programs and resources are available to help good marriages become better or marriages that are struggling to get back on track. There is a great selection of books and DVDs in the parish library on the Marriage Enrichment book stand. Following are programs that are being offered: September 21 through December 14, 2010- Financial Peace This is a 13 week class covering everything involving your financial wellbeing. It covers areas such as budgeting, credit cards, all insurances, college and retirement investing, real estate and many other financial items so you can live in financial peace. See www.daveramsey.com Cost: $199 retail, $95 through our Parish (lifetime membership) September 23 through December 2, 2010 - Love and Respect Study Group A 10 week study group that will watch part of a DVD on the Love and Respect Conference and work through a workbook that will help give her the love she needs and the respect he deserves. (need to attend all 7 weeks) See www.loveandrespect.com Cost: Classes are free, must purchase a workbook for $10 To Be Scheduled - Weekend to Remember Conference This is a live conference presented by Family Life from Little Rock, Arkansas that will change your life forever. It is hosted at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel in Appleton. See www.familylife.com Cost: $129 per person. Save $80 a couple by joining our group. Brochures are available in the back of Church. To Be Scheduled- Great Dates Take your love one out on a date. It starts with a short program at church and then out on your own at your favorite spot. See www.marriagealive.com Cost: Class is Free. Workbook $10 To Be Scheduled- Laugh Your Way to a Better Marriage Seminar This is a two half day DVD seminar on laughing out loud while you learn how differently Women and Men think and operate. See www.laughyourway.com Cost: Free Other programs will be scheduled if there is enough interest, such as Laugh Your Way Study Group, FIREPROOF the movie, or a Fireproof Study Group NOTE: Generally free babysitting will be available for these programs when needed.
